Your public IP is what every server on the internet sees when you connect. This page shows yours — IPv4 always, IPv6 if your network has it enabled. The approximate location comes from the IP, which usually pinpoints your ISP's region rather than your physical address, so do not panic if it is off by a city.

Why does my IP change?
Most home ISPs use dynamic IPs that rotate periodically. Mobile networks usually change with every connection. Static IPs require a business plan.
Is my IP location accurate?
ISP region: usually accurate. Exact city: typically within 50 km of your actual location, sometimes much further. The databases trace ISP-registered locations, not your router.
Can someone find me from my IP?
They can find your ISP and approximate region. Not your home address without a subpoena. VPN if you want to hide your region.
